Odell Beckham Jr. and Donald Trump were both in attendance at UFC 287 in Miami over the weekend.
The two had a chance to meet each other, with the Baltimore Ravens’ newest wide receiver briefly greeting the former President. A picture of Beckham and Joe Burrow shaking Trump’s hand popped up on Twitter on Monday.
As is the case whenever a politician and an athlete are connected in any way, the reactions to this photo have been all over the map.
“What?! Odell shook Trump’s hand? I remember during a Giants game(2017?) he hated Trump,” one person said.

“No matter what side of the political aisle you’re on, showing respect to a former president is actually the American thing to do,” another commenter added.

“This is why Mahomes is better than Burrow… also this is why Lamar will still leave the Ravens and Tyler Huntley will be throwing to overpaid Odell,” countered a non-Trump supporter.
