Training camp is here. The Washington Football Team reported to Richmond for the first day of camp on Tuesday and now the countdown begins for the first preseason game.

The Football Team opens their preseason against the New England Patriots on Aug. 12.

In 2020, there were no preseason games. That was a good thing for the players. Over the years, so many key players have seen their season end before it even began in the preseason.

However, for fans, a lack of preseason meant no preseason or training camp stars. Over the years, Washington has had plenty. From the late Colt Brennan to Marko Mitchell to Marcus Mason, the team always seems to have a player fans want on the roster in Week 1.
