In late April, the Chicago Bears landed arguably the steal of the draft when Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields started to fall in the draft.
Chicago made the decision to move up, trading several draft picks to the New York Giants for the No. 11 pick. Two weeks into training camp, Fields is showing that the Bears made the right decision.
Every report coming out of Bears training camp has raved about Fields and his talent. One Bears veteran made it clear Fields had a bright future ahead of him.
“Justin Fields is a guy who has all the talent in the world,” Bears wide receiver Allen Robinson said. “He has those exciting capabilities. He’s a very athletic dude. The sky is the limit for Justin.”

Fields is one of the most gifted passers to leave college football in the past decade. He rarely made the wrong decision at Ohio State and kept his turnovers to a minimum.
It helps that he’s built like a tight end that can move like a running back as well. Despite all of his skill, though, he still has to beat out veteran quarterback Andy Dalton for the starting role.
Earlier this summer, head coach Matt Nagy said Dalton remains the team’s starting quarterback. We’ll have to wait and see if that holds true.
