On Tuesday afternoon, the Arizona Cardinals added a veteran defensive lineman to the active roster.
According to a statement from his agent, David Canter, former Penn State standout Jack Crawford signed a new deal. After spending last season with the Tennessee Titans, he inked a new deal with the Cardinals.
“Congratulations to client @Sack_Religious on signing with @AZCardinals,” Canter said in a post on social media.

Crawford started his football career at Penn State, where he took over for Aaron Maybin. He was a two-time honorable mention All-Big Ten performer during his career with the Nittany Lions.
After a strong college football career, he was drafted by the then-Oakland Raiders. After two years in Oakland, he signed a new deal with the Dallas Cowboys, where he played for three seasons.
Crawford then spent three seasons with the Atlanta Falcons before signing a new deal with the Titans last season.
Now he’s in Arizona, where he’ll add depth to an already stout defensive line.
