The Los Angeles Chargers are at home this Sunday for an afternoon clash with the Dallas Cowboys. But while playing under the big spotlight can be daunting at times, Chargers wide receiver Mike Williams doesn’t seem concerned.
Speaking to the media this week, the Chargers wide receiver didn’t appear intimidated by the threat of the Dallas Cowboys defense. He pointed out that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ receivers seemed comfortable in their Week 1 game against Dallas.
“Tampa Bay receivers looked like they was having some fun out there,” Williams told the press.
It’s no secret that the Dallas Cowboys struggled against the Buccaneers’ stacked receiving corps in Week 1. They gave up over 350 passing yards with three Bucs players going over 90 yards.

The Los Angeles Chargers looked sharp in their season opener against the Washington Football Team. Against one of the league’s best defenses, they had over 400 yards of offense.
Williams had eight receptions for 82 yards and the game-winning touchdown in the 20-16 victory. His teammate Keenan Allen led the way with nine receptions for 100 yards.
The Cowboys may have their hands full with the Chargers offense in this one. But if their own offense can match the Chargers blow-for-blow, Mike Williams’ performance may not matter in the end.
Can the Dallas Cowboys contain Mike Williams and the Chargers offense?
The game will be played at 4:25 p.m. EST and will air on CBS.
