After months of nonstop rumors and cryptic messages, the Green Bay Packers found a way to fix their relationship with Aaron Rodgers. Well, for now at least.
Rodgers will be back under center for the Packers this fall in what should be yet another fun year for Matt LaFleur’s squad. However, his future in Green Bay past the 2021 season is still uncertain at this time.
Several NFL insiders believe this upcoming season will be Rodgers’ last one in Green Bay. Not everyone agrees with that stance though.
Packers legend Donald Driver told The Big Lead that “nobody” expects Rodgers to leave after the 2021 season.
“I don’t think anyone expects him to leave,” Driver said. “So I think we’ll all sit back and watch to try to figure out what happens next.”

Driver also revealed his initial reaction to all the drama that took place in Green Bay this offseason.
“My first reaction was, I can’t believe this is even true,” Driver told The Big Lead. “But you think about your career, it becomes a business decision at the end of the day and I think Aaron was making this decision just like the organization is making one. At the end of the day, as we all know, it’s gonna all fall down to what the organization wants to do, whatever it wants to do. Now he’s back in Green Bay and so we’re excited about what this season’s gonna hold.”
It’s way too early to determine how Rodgers’ career with the Packers will play out, but it’s certainly interesting that Driver has faith that the two sides will work things out. He certainly knows a thing or two about the franchise.
