To win the AFC North, Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals are well aware they need to beat division opponents.
The Steelers, in particular, have haunted the Bengals’ dreams for years now. Cincinnati finally flipped the cards when it beat Pittsburgh 27-17 on Dec. 21 of 2020. It was the first time the Bengals beat the Steelers at Heinz Field since 2015.
Fast forward to Sunday afternoon and the Bengals have now won two straight over the Steelers, both games coming at Heinz Field. Burrow was terrific against Pittsburgh’s defense. The former No. 1 overall pick had 172 yards passing and three touchdowns with one interception.
Burrow told reporters that the Bengals finally feel like they’re discovering how to win.
“We knew we had to come in here and win,” Burrow said, via Bengals.com. “First division game, second road game. We didn’t play well in the first road game so we had to come in here and play the way we did. It wasn’t perfect, we have a lot of room to improve on offense, but we got the job done.
“You continue to build the culture and build the winning culture. We’re starting to understand how to win.”

Believe it or not, the Cincinnati Bengals sit atop the AFC North at 2-1 with a division win under their belt.
Joe Burrow has bounced back well following his devastating season-ending injury last year. He’s thrown for 640 yards and seven touchdowns with four interceptions in three games.
The Bengals get back to work this week in preparation for the Jacksonville Jaguars this Thursday.
