Bill Belichick had his game face on for the majority of this Wednesday’s joint practice between the New England Patriots and New York Giants. That being said, he was all smiles while talking to the team’s special guest on the sidelines.
Photos of Belichick chatting with Jon Bon Jovi went viral this afternoon. That might seem like a bizarre pairing, but the legendary singer/songwriter is actually a huge fan of the Patriots.
Ever since 1996, Jon Bon Jovi has been close friends with Bill Belichick and Robert Kraft. He has a tremendous amount of respect for the way they built one of the best dynasties the sports world has ever seen, which he discussed in an interview with Sports Illustrated.
“Real leaders lead from the top down,” he said, via Sports Illustrated. “The whole Patriot Way begins with Robert Kraft and his sense of family and his ability to embrace others for their strengths.”

Giants fans might be a bit upset that Bon Jovi, a New Jersey native, isn’t a fan of their team. However, it’s tough to blame him for siding with one of the best organizations in sports.
Just like Bon Jovi, the Patriots have been very successful for a long, long time.
