Warring was cut by the Texans on Sunday.

Selected with a third-round pick in the 2019 draft, Warring was a huge bust for the Houston franchise.
The San Diego State product missed his entire rookie season with a serious concussion. This past season, he saw time in just seven games, spending the rest of his second season listed on the injured reserve.
Through his time on the field in 2020, 24-year-old tight end logged just three receptions on seven targets for 35 yards.
Injuries on the Patriots TE depth chart likely played a significant role in their decision to sign Warring. Starting tight end Hunter Henry is expected to miss “a couple weeks” after suffering a minor shoulder injury in practice last Sunday. Backup Jonnu Smith returned to practice just yesterday after suffering a low ankle sprain this past week.
Warring will join second-year third rounder Devin Asiasi and veteran Matt LaCosse on the Pats’ TE reserve depth chart.
Maybe the third-year tight end can find his NFL footing under a Bill Belichick-led system in 2021.
