One could argue that the weakest position on the Washington Football Team in 2020 was linebacker. Wide receiver was another position with a need for upgrades, but the Football Team still had No. 1 WR Terry McLaurin.
Meanwhile, the linebacking corps was without a top-tier starter.
Jon Bostic started inside, and while he is a smart and instinctive player who is also a strong leader, he was a liability at times, specifically in coverage.
Washington’s top linebacker was Cole Holcomb, and he is back in 2021.
The most notable linebacker addition for Washington in 2021 is rookie Jamin Davis. A first-round selection from Kentucky, Davis is expected to be a day one starter for the WFT.
Now, here is our preview of Washington’s linebackers for 2021.
