If there is one position outside of the defensive line to get excited about for the 2021 Washington Football Team, it is wide receiver.
Washington features one of the best in the NFL in Terry McLaurin. In two years in the NFL, McLaurin has 145 receptions for 2,037 yards and 11 touchdowns. McLaurin has achieved those numbers with unstable quarterback play and no other viable threat at receiver.
The Football Team entered the offseason knowing it needed upgrades at receiver. Washington signed Curtis Samuel and Adam Humphries at wide receiver and added Dyami Brown in the 2021 NFL draft.
Washington’s wide receivers have a chance to be one of the better units in the NFC. The hope is veteran quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick gets the most out of this group.
