The Washington Football Team opens the 2021 regular season on Sunday when the Los Angeles Chargers make the cross-country trip to FedEx Field.
This game will feature the Washington debut of veteran quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick, who looks to lead the Football Team to back-to-back NFC East titles.
On the other side, the Chargers feature 2020 NFL offensive rookie of the year, Justin Herbert, under center. Herbert completed almost 67% of his passes for over 4,300 yards in his first NFL season with 31 touchdowns and 10 interceptions.
It should be one of the more exciting matchups of the NFL’s opening weekend.
