Orioles’ long-term lease approved

After approval by the Maryland Stadium Authority and the Board of Public Works on Monday, the Orioles have a long-term lease extension with Maryland. Under the lease, the Orioles are committed to Camden Yards for 15 years. Orioles acquire pitcher Jonathan Heasley from Royals

The Orioles acquired right-handed pitcher Jonathan Heasley from the Kansas City Royals on Monday night in exchange for minor league right-hander Cesar Espinal. Heasley, 26, was 5-11 with a 5.45 earned-run average in three seasons with the Royals. He made 36 appearances, 24 starts.
