What happened? Albert Suárez pitched seven strong innings, and Emmanuel Rivera homered and drove in three runs to lead the Orioles to a 5-3 victory over the Colorado Rockies on Friday night. Orioles sign right-hander Nick Anderson to minor league contract
The Orioles signed right-handed reliever Nick Anderson to a minor league contract. The 34-year-old Anderson is 14-7 with a 3.18 ERA and 10 saves in a five-year major league career with Tampa Bay, Miami, Atlanta and Kansas City. Anderson was 3-1 with a 4.04 ERA with a save in 37 games with the Royals this season.
