Orioles place Mountcastle on injured list, recall Soto
The Orioles placed first baseman Ryan Mountcastle on the 10-day injured list retroactive to August 23rd because of a sprained left wrist. Orioles promote Basallo from Double-A Bowie to Triple-A Norfolk
The Orioles are promoting their third-highest prospect and the 11th overall in minor league baseball, catcher/first baseman Samuel Basallo, from Double-A Bowie to Triple-A Norfolk.
