The Orioles placed infielder Jordan Westburg on the 10-day injured list with a broken right hand on Thursday. Westburg was hit by a pitch in the fifth inning of Wednesday’s 10-4 win over the Toronto Blue Jays. Rubenstein group completes purchase of Orioles
The Orioles are now under complete control of David Rubenstein and his partners. Rubenstein, whose purchase of the team from the Angelos family was approved by Major League Baseball on March 27th, bought the team for $1.724 billion. The sale of the remaining 60 percent was completed on Thursday.
