Navy Football Defeats Wagner in Home Opener
On Saturday the Navy Midshipmen defeated the Wagner Seahawks 24-0 at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in teams home opener. The win gives new head coach Brian Newberry his first career win. The shutout is also Navy’s first shutout victory since defeating Army 34-0 all the back in 2008. The game was delayed twice due to weather for a total of an hour and 32 minutes.
