San Antonio Spurs vs New York Knicks | Betting Odds & Tips

December 7, 2021 by The Sports Fan Journal

Ready for more of our latest NBA betting tips here at TSFJ? We’ve selected a very interesting matchup taking place tonight at the AT&T Center in Texas, as the San Antonio Spurs host the New York Knicks. It’s a highly-anticipated cross-conference matchup – here’s everything you need to know about the two franchises!

San Antonio Spurs

The San Antonio Spurs had an impressive season opener, beating the Orlando Magic in Texas 123-97. However, there has been plenty of action between now and the start of the season, and now the Spurs find themselves 12th in the Western Conference. Now 8-14 on the year so far, it’s certainly been an up-and-down campaign in the early stages of the regular season for San Antonio. They are heading into the matchup with the Knicks having lost their last game – a 104-108 defeat to the Phoenix Suns. Will the Spurs be able to bounce back immediately tonight?

New York Knicks

In a similar fashion to their upcoming opponents, the New York Knicks have had an inconsistent start to the new season, and are currently sat in 11th in the Eastern Conference. It’s been difficult in some matchups for the Knicks, which has been evident in recent games. Now without a win in their last three, New York will certainly be trying to turn around their run of form, and momentum as a result. Back-to-back home defeats to the Chicago Bulls (115-119) and the Denver Nuggets (99-113) in their latest clashes is not something the Knicks want to continue. A trip to San Antonio could be a turning point for them.

Spurs vs Knicks – Betting Odds

According to the bookmakers, it’s a tight matchup and the odds aren’t too far from one another. However, there is one favorite for the majority of the bookies – the New York Knicks! Per BetMGM, the moneyline odds for tonight’s matchup are:

San Antonio Spurs: +120

New York Knicks: -143

It’s close, but most of the online US betting sites are considering the Knicks to take the win back to the Big Apple tonight!

Spurs vs Knicks – TSFJ Tips & Predictions

Like the bookmakers, we’re tipping the New York Knicks to be victors tonight at the AT&T Center, but our tips don’t end there! When using FanDuel – one of the leading US sportsbooks – you can find some extremely generous odds within their ‘winning margin (bands)’ markets. For example, as we’re predicting a close encounter, you can get odds for the Knicks to win by 1-5 points at +410! Similarly, for the Spurs to win by 1-5 points, odds are currently +430 – make the most of them today!
