Senate Republicans introduce bill to beef up penalties for violent crimes

A group of Senate Republicans led by Iowa’s Chuck Grassley have introduced a broad package to clarify and strengthen violent crime laws related to homicide, bank robbery, carjacking, kidnapping and other offenses.
