Suspected Libyan bombmaker of 1988 Lockerbie plane attack in U.S. custody, officials say

The suspect in a 1988 plane bombing that was Britain’s deadliest terrorist attack is going to make his initial appearance in the U.S. District Court for the District of Colombia, the Justice Department said.
