Follow along as the Nationals look to snap their six game losing streak
It has been a rough week for the Nationals, who have now lost six games in a row. They battled last night, but fell to the Braves, with Alex Verdugo hitting a walk off single. Hopefully the Nats can snap the losing streak tonight.
Luis Garcia Jr. is out on paternity leave, so Jose Tena will play second base and Amed Rosario will play third base. Josh Bell will get another start at DH, while Jacob Young comes in to play center field.
Michael Soroka will return to Atlanta for the first time since he left the club after 2023. He was an All-Star and young star for the Braves before injuries derailed him. Soroka is still beloved by Braves fans. He was great in his first five innings last time out before struggling in the sixth.

Walk-off hero Alex Verdugo will lead off for the Braves tonight. A lot of familiar names make up the middle of the Braves order. However, the Nats are seeing rookie catcher Drake Baldwin for the first time tonight. Spencer Schwellenbach will start for the Braves tonight. He has had a good start to the season.
