Follow along as the Washington Nationals and Baltimore Orioles reignite the Battle of the Beltway
In a road trip against three of the worst teams in the National League, the Washington Nationals stumbled, going 4-6. It was a missed opportunity for a team looking to take a step forward this season. However, they need to get back on the horse as they take on the Orioles in a rivalry game.
For the lineup, James Wood remains in the leadoff spot. He had some special moments on the road trip, but struggled with consistency. Nathaniel Lowe will bat second, which is the highest he has been in the lineup I believe. Jose Tena will get the start at third, as Mitchell Parker takes the mound looking to keep up his stellar start to the season.

The Orioles have struggled this season, but their leadoff man Cedric Mullins has not. New Orioles Tyler O’Neill and Gary Sanchez will be in the lineup as well. Sanchez will be behind the plate while starting catcher Adley Rutschman DH’s. The O’s rotation has struggled, and tonight’s starter Dean Kramer has been no exception.
