Follow along as the Nationals look to take the series against the Orioles
In a strange game, the Nationals got a 4-3 victory against the struggling Orioles. They showed a lot of heart and the bullpen had a great night. Now they need to follow that up and get the series win.
Baltimore is coming into this matchup with confusing piling up at an all-time high after the firing of manager Brandon Hyde. Make no mistake, Baltimore has struggled this season becoming one of the bottom feeders in baseball. To fans this is not a surprise and Baltimore will be expecting better baseball in the future.
Jake Irvin will take the mound for the Nats this afternoon. He has been solid, but the strikeouts have been hard to come by.
After a rough game yesterday, CJ Abrams will look to continue on his impressive season thus far. James Wood and Nathaniel Lowe highlight the rest of the lineup, bringing much needed power to a relatively solid lineup this season.

The O’s brought Kyle Gibson back late in the offseason. After ramping up, he has really struggled in his first three starts. Hopefully the Nats can take advantage of that.
Just hours after firing manager Brandon Hyde, Baltimore will be looking to make a statement. After a brutal loss last night, this young, star-studded lineup, headlined by Gunnar Henderson and Jackson Holliday, will try and get the Orioles back to where pre-season experts had them.
