Follow along as the Nationals look for their first sweep of the season against the struggling O’s
The Nationals have been unable to finish off many sweeps in the past few years, but they have an opportunity to finish one today against the O’s. After the seven game losing streak, the Nats need to make up for lost time. A sweep in this series would go a long way in helping the cause.
Michael Soroka is on the mound today. He has shown flashes of brilliance in his two starts since coming off the IL, but has not put it all together yet. Today could be the day where he does that.
With Jacob Young out of the lineup after his injury, Dylan Crews will go to center field and Alex Call will play in right. The rest of the lineup has a pretty familiar look. Keibert Ruiz’s heavy workload will continue, with the catcher getting another start.

Most Orioles starting pitchers have been ineffective this season, but Zach Eflin has been solid despite missing time with injury. There is some movement in their lineup, with Emmanuel Rivera playing third base and Heston Kjerstad getting a start.
