The Washington Nationals are looking for the sweep as they take on the Rockies in the second leg of a double header
The Washington Nationals go another tense one run victory in Denver this afternoon. This 3-2 win was much lower scoring than the 12-11 affair last night. However, it is now time to move onto the second leg of the double header.
The Nats are making a couple changes to the lineup. As expected, Keibert Ruiz is back in there at catcher after Riley Adams backstopped the first game. Jose Tena and Luis Garcia Jr. are also called into service with a righty on the mound for the Rockies. Josh Bell will take over at first, letting Nathaniel Lowe DH. Brad Lord will take the mound for an Easter Sunday start.

The Rockies also made some changes. Jacob Stallings, Jordan Beck, Sean Bouchard, and Aaron Schunk will feature, after all being on the bench in game one. The Rockies will have Antonio Senzatela. The 30 year old has been a fixture in the Rockies rotation, but has missed a lot of time with injuries in recent years.

A sweep to salvage a .500 road trip would be massive for the Nats. The trips to Miami and Pittsburgh were really disappointing, so some positive momentum would be ideal. Comment down below and let’s get this Curly W.
