Follow along as the Nationals look to avoid tying the franchise record for consecutive losses
The Washington Nationals have lost 11 in a row. Over half of those are to the Rockies and Marlins. Let that sink in for a bit. Anyways, the vibes have never been lower in Nats land as they finish off their four game series with the Rockies.
The lineup will stay untouched. Despite coming into a toxic environment, Brady House has had a good start to his big league career. He has had back to back multi-hit nights and his defense looks sharp. James Wood has also been a ray of light in the midst of the losing. He is hitting second and playing left. Trevor Williams will take the mound for the Nats.

The Rockies are flying high after a four game winning streak. Their top young arm Chase Dollander will be on the mound. He has big time stuff, but has been roughed up so far in his MLB career. Oddly, the Rockies have Brenton Doyle DH’ing despite Doyle being one of the best defenders in baseball. Sam Hilliard will play center field instead. Hunter Goodman will come back into the Rockies lineup. He has punished the Nats this series.
