Follow along as the slumping Nats look to snap their five game losing streak against the last place Fish
The Nationals had a tough series on the road against the Mets. They were in a couple of the games, but just couldn’t execute when it mattered. However, the Miami Marlins should be a softer touch, at least on paper. The Nats can’t take this team lightly, as we saw when they lost 2⁄3 to the Fish earlier this season.
The Nationals are running out a pretty standard lineup they use pretty often against right handed pitching lately. Nationals catchers have been brutal all month, but Keibert Ruiz will be the one behind the dish tonight. The Nats need more extra base hits from the top of their lineup. Mitchell Parker will be on the mound as he looks to conquer his first inning woes.

The Marlins lineup is light on big names, but they have a couple guys doing some solid work. Agustin Ramirez, Dane Myers and Kyle Stowers have been bright spots in an otherwise rough Marlins lineup. The Nats will be facing the nasty but wild Dominican Edward Cabrera.

The Nats desperately need to snap their five game losing streak. On paper, the Marlins should give them a good opportunity to do so. However, if the Nationals are off their game, the Fish are ready to pounce and take advantage. Follow along down below and let’s go Nats!
