Follow along for some late night Nationals action as the Nats head to the Pacific Northwest
Despite losing two out of three to a strong Giants team, the Nationals are still playing solid baseball. They have one seven of their last 10 and have responded well after their miserable seven game losing streak. Now they hit the road.
The Nationals are running out their extremely lefty heavy lineup with a right hander on the mound. Our lineup will feature seven lefties and two switch hitters, both of whom are better from the left side. This lineup has become one that Davey Martinez has settled on against right handed pitching lately. There has been a lot of chopping and changing to lineups this season, but it seems like Davey has settled on something he likes. Mitchell Parker will be on the bump.

The Mariners offense has been much improved after a miserable 2024. Cal Raleigh has been the catalyst with his 17 home runs. Around him, they have had a lot of guys chipping in. With a lefty on the mound, the Mariners will do some platooning. Donovan Solano will play first over Rowdy Tellez and Mitch Garver will DH over Jorge Polanco. Rookie Logan Evans will take the mound. He has had a strong start to his MLB career.
