Follow along as the Nationals look to snap their three game losing streak
After one of their worst performances of the season, the Nationals will look to bounce back. The 10-0 loss which saw Erick Fedde throw a complete game shutout is the type of defeat that wounds players pride, so I expect to see the offense come out swinging.
Alex Call is also back in the Nats lineup, hitting second. That provides another reason for optimism. Jose Tena is also back in there after sitting the past couple games. James Wood will DH today. His OPS as a DH is a staggering 1.369 this season. Trevor Williams will take the mound as he looks to get his season off the ground.

The Cardinals will roll out a lot of familiar faces. However, Nolan Gorman and Alec Burleson will be in the lineup with a righty on the mound. Versatile star Brendan Donovan will play left field after manning second base yesterday. Andre Pallante will take the mound for the Red Birds.

I expect to see a bounce back effort from the boys today. Getting shutout by Erick Fedde can’t be something the offense is happy about. Let’s hope for a big response and a curly W. Let’s go Nats!
