The Baltimore Orioles defeated the Toronto Blue Jays 6-5 in 10 innings on Saturday. The win was the Orioles 30th this season but it didn’t come easy. The Orioles scored a run in each of the first two innings only to see the Blue Jays tie the game at 2 each after five innings. A run in the sixth and two in the seventh gave Toronto a 5-2 lead. Ryan O’Hearn’s (3 for 5, 1 R, 4 RBI) eighth inning three-run homer tied the game. Tied at 5, the game entered the 10th inning and with Ryan Mountcastle (0 for 4, 2 R, 1 HBP) on second. Adam Frazier (3 for 4, 1 3B, 2 R) sacrifice bunted Mountcastle to third and he scored on an aggressive run to home on Austin Hays’ (0 for 2, 1 RBI) fielder’s choice. Pitching his second inning of the game, closer Felix Bautista (2.0 IP, 1 H, 1 BB, 5 K) kept Toronto from scoring and earned the win; Bautista is 3-1 on the season.
