Carroll County 2024-25 boys basketball All-County team

April 12, 2025 by The Baltimore Sun

Here is the Carroll County 2024-25 All-County boys basketball team:

Coach of the Year: Johnathan Forester, Westminster

Heading into the season, Westminster coach Johnathan Forester knew his team had the talent, but he wanted them to bring the energy for the season to be a success.

He certainly led by example.

Forester’s energy was on display all season as he led the Owls. After a timeout, the first year coach was in the middle of the huddle demanding his players go the extra mile and make the unselfish play.

When he needed his team to get back on defense, he often raced them down the sideline leaving fans wondering if he was about to step on the court and take one of his players’ spots himself.

The most important part of Forester’s energy: his players responded and fed off it.

Forester led the Owls to a share of the conference title with a 10-2 record in the county, leading the Owls to a playoff victory in what was an impressive debut season.

For his efforts, Westminster coach Johnathan Forester has been named Carroll County Times boys basketball coach of the Year.

All-County first team

Nate Brown, Century, junior, guard

The Knights went on a tear at the beginning of the season, winning their first nine county games behind Brown, who finished sixth in the county with 13.6 points per game and eighth with 6.6 rebounds as a guard. Brown was also a relentless defender, finishing second in the county with 2.5 steals per game.

Colton Enderle, Manchester Valley, junior, guard

With significant production gone from last year’s team, coach Chris Wunder relied on his lead guard, and Enderle delivered, finishing third in the county with 15.9 points per game. No one in the county scored more points in a game this season than his 32-point effort against Harford Tech.

Walker Fowble, South Carroll, senior, guard

Fowble put on a show every time he stepped on the court this season, finishing fifth in the county with 14 points per game and fifth with 3.6 assists. He also led the county with 3.7 steals per game and had one of the county’s highest-scoring games of the season, dropping 31 points in a win against Francis Scott Key.

Charlie Mollman, Westminster, junior, forward

A Player of the Year finalist, Mollman averaged a double-double this season with 12.6 points and 10 rebounds per game. He also finished in the top 10 in the county with 2.8 assists per game.

Mollman led the Owls to a share of the county title in Forester’s first season, largely due to impressive performances like his 14 points and 12 rebounds against Winters Mill and a 10-point, 15-rebound effort in a win against Liberty.

Colin Toms, Gerstell, senior, forward

This was the year of déjà vu for the Gerstell big man, as he once again led the county in rebounding, averaged a double-double (10.8 points, 11.1 rebounds per game), and earned first-team All-County honors for the second straight season.

Toms shot over 61% from the floor this season, scoring a game-high 22 points in the MIAA B Conference quarterfinals for the Falcons.
