The Baltimore Orioles began the final home series of 2022 on Monday night. The team fought both the Toronto Blue Jays and the rain, losing to both. The Blue Jays won the game 5-1 and the rain shortened it. In what really was a moot point, the game was halted with the bases loaded and two outs in the top of the eighth inning. Fifty-five minutes later, the game was called.
