Another game already?
Welp, here we go again. When your favorite baseball team is good, it’s so nice that there are games almost every night. When your favorite baseball team is the Orioles, almost every night is way too often.
Dean Kremer is on the mound for the Orioles. After two good starts, Kremer pitched a clunker vs the Twins last time out. But maybe things have turned a bit of a corner for Dean. At least I hope so. For awhile, Kremer was looking like he wanted to be the newest player to get the Five Runs, All Earned moniker.
The Brewers are using an opener, lefty Rob Zastryzny. It will be Zastryzny’s second appearance of the year; he pitched two scoreless innings two days ago. I am glad he’s not on the Orioles because that is a hard name to spell. After Zastryzny, the Brewers will go with their regular starter, Quinn Priester.
Adley Rutschman gets the night off with Maverick Handley penciled into the number nine spot. Dylan Carlson gets the start over Heston Kjerstad. And Ramón Laureano gets his second start in the cleanup spot. It makes sense, but is also very weird. That’s life with the Orioles.
