The Orioles acquired third baseman Bryan Ramos from the Chicago White Sox on Sunday night for cash considerations.
A 23-year-old Cuban, Ramos played 36 games for the White Sox in 2024 and 2025, hitting .198 with three home runs and 13 RBIs.
Ramos has played only third base in the major leagues but has played first and second, and left field in the minors.
To make room for Ramos on the 40-man roster, the Orioles designated utility player Weston Wilson for assignment. Wilson was claimed off waivers from Philadelphia on January 22nd.
