Fans eager for a new scoreboard at Camden Yards will have their wish next season. The Orioles announced their plans for a new center field scoreboard on Tuesday.
The new scoreboard was among several upgrades approved by the Maryland Stadium Authority. It will be 2 1/2 times larger than the current video board and will be the 12th largest board in baseball.
Also approved are a new right field wall display, upper deck and club level ribbon boards and a unified control room.
The Orioles say there will be 1,125 feet of new ribbon board and 16,681,456 new pixels in the ballpark, all with 4k resolution.
Work will begin on the scoreboard and other enhancements following this season, and the team says they will be operational for 2026.
