Orioles minor leaguer Luis Ortiz was a ‘fighter’ throughout cancer battle: ‘Everybody’s feeling it’

After Orioles minor leaguer Luis Ortiz died after a yearlong battle with leukemia Saturday, senior director of international scouting Koby Perez said: “He was a fighter. He said he was going to fight, and he did all the way to his last breath.”
