Orioles pitcher Tyler Wells wants the challenge of being a starter: ‘That’s what makes it so fulfilling’

Tyler Wells won the spring training competition for the No. 5 spot in the Orioles’ starting rotation. Wells, who has experience both in the bullpen and rotation, said being a starting pitcher is “a big personality thing of mine.”
