The Baltimore Orioles bounced back from Monday’s shutout loss and beat the Tampa Bay Rays 4-2 Tuesday night. It was the combination of Grayson Rodriguez (2-0) and Adley Rutschman that led the way.
Credited with the win, Rodriguez allowed 2 runs on 7 hits (2 HR), walked 2 and struck out 4 over 5.2 innings, one out away from a quality start. Rutschman homered onto Eutaw Street in the third inning and finished the night by going 1 for 3 with 1 run scored, 2 RBI and a walk.

The Orioles defense turned four double plays in support of the pitching staff.
Ryan Mountcastle went 2 for 4 with a run scored.
Gunnar Henderson went 1 for 3 with a triple and 1 run scored.
Cedric Mullins went 1 for 4 with a double nad a run scored.
Felix Bautista earned his 8th save of the season with a four out effort that was not without drama. He allowed 3 walks and struck out 1 over the 1.1 innings and faced runners on first and second with no outs in the ninth; a double play got him out of that jam before he induced the final out.
