A person was stabbed in Federal Hill in South Baltimore and a man was shot in the Hollins Market neighborhood in Central Southwest on Thursday, Baltimore City Police said.
Officers responded to the unit block of East Cross Street at about 3:05 p.m. and determined that the stabbing occurred at 1001 S. Charles St. A police spokesperson said the victim was taken to a hospital and that there are no additional details at this time.
At about 8:40 p.m., officers responded to the 100 block of South Schroeder Street to investigate a reported shooting. They located a 35-year-old man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the stomach. The victim was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Southwest District Shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call 410-396-2488.
