Dean Kremer will take the mound as the Orioles look to take the series in Atlanta.
The Orioles can take the series today with Dean Kremer on the mound in Atlanta. The Birds used a pair of homers to secure a 3-2 win on Friday, but the team would benefit from a few more runs today. The lineup, at least on paper, looks like one that could do just that.
Jordan Westburg and Tyler O’Neill are both back in the lineup after recording hits yesterday. Westburg finished 3-for-4 with a homer, while O’Neill recorded a single and a walk. O’Neill will play right field today, and Westburg will return to third.
Jackson Holliday will take his usual spot atop the lineup. Gunnar Henderson will bat third, and designated hitter Ramón Laureano will hit cleanup. All-Star selection Ryan O’Hearn will play first base, and Gary Sánchez will handle the catching responsibilities.
Baltimore’s three outfielders round out the bottom of the order. O’Neill will be joined by Colton Cowser and Cedric Mullins.
Kremer tossed a gem his last time out against the Rays. Lefty Aaron Bummer will serve as an opener for Atlanta.
