The Orioles look to even the series with their ace on the mound in Houston.
The Orioles and Astros played a laugher last night that only comes along once or twice in a season. Baltimore landed on the wrong end of the 14-11 contest, but the Birds will look to even the series this afternoon.
Corbin Burnes and the bullpen will look to keep Houston to single digits today. Burnes holds an 8-2 record and a 2.14 ERA.
Gunnar Henderson will leadoff after blasting his 23rd and 24th homers last night. Adley Rutschman will follow after a five-hit night, and Ryan O’Hearn will bat third. O’Hearn will man the smaller left field with Colton Cowser playing right. Cedric Mullins will bat seventh and play up the middle.
Ryan Mountcastle will take first base with Anthony Santander slotting in as the DH. Jordan Westburg and and Ramón Urías will complete the infield.
The Orioles will face Houston starter Ronel Blanco. Blanco boasts a 7-2 record with a 2.43 ERA.
