The Orioles look to secure a series victory with Dean Kremer on the mound in Colorado.
After a day filled with college football, it’s time for some Orioles baseball. Baltimore started off strong with a 5-3 victory over the Rockies last night, and the club will look to secure a series win with Dean Kremer on the mound this evening.
Gunnar Henderson will leap to the leadoff spot against Colorado starter Ryan Feltner. The Orioles need Henderson and number two hitter Adley Rutschman to get going soon. Henderson went hitless in five trips last night, and Rutschman grounded out in a pinch-hit appearance.
Last night’s hero Emmanuel Rivera will return to the bench against the right-handed Feltner. Ryan O’Hearn will get the start at first base, and Anthony Santander will bat cleanup for the Birds.
Colton Cowser and Cedric Mullins will round out the outfield. Ramón Urías and Jackson Holliday will take second and third base, respectively, and Eloy Jiménez will begin the game as the DH.
The Cardinals beat the Yankees 6-5, so Baltimore can pick up a game today with a win at Coors Field.
