The Orioles look to rebound and take the series with Grayson Rodriguez on the mound.
The Orioles looked absolutely dreadful yesterday, but it only counted as one loss. The O’s can quickly put the loss behind them by winning today and taking the series this afternoon.
Grayson Rodriguez will take the mound in the final game of the West Coast road trip. Rodriguez has played the part of a second ace this year, and Baltimore feels like it needs a strong performance after allowing Oakland to dominate offensively.
Rodriguez will throw to Adley Rutschman. Ryan Mountcastle will take the DH spot, while Ryan O’Hearn plays first base. Anthony Santander will play right, Heston Kjerstad will take left, and Cedric Mullins will play up the middle.
Gunnar Henderson gets his usual nod at shortstop, and Jordan Westburg will play to his left. Ramón Urías will bat ninth and play third.
The Orioles will face Mitch Spence. The righty is 5-4 with a 4.15 ERA.
