The Orioles look to complete a three-game sweep with Dean Kremer on the mound in Cincinnati.
Baltimore will look to get the brooms out today in Cincinnati. The Orioles took the first two games despite tallying only five runs. Fortunately, the Birds held Cinci to only one run over the last two days.
Dean Kremer will look to continue a dominant stretch on the mound. Kremer limited Kansas City to two runs over seven innings his last time out.
The Birds could benefit from a breakout at the plate. Closer Craig Kimbrel will be unavailable after working consecutive games and failing to get the job done last night. Yennier Cano pitched in the first two games but only needed three pitches on Friday.
The Orioles will look to get the job done without their strongest lineup. Ryan McKenna and Ramón Urías will both start against left-hander Nick Lodolo. Colton Cowser will get the start in left, with Anthony Santander completing the outfield.
Jorge Mateo will start at short with Gunnar Henderson slotting in as the designated hitter. Adley Rutschman will catch after James McCann handled the duties last night. Ryan Mountcastle will play first base with Jordan Westburg standing to his right.
Lodolo enters the game 3-0 with a 1.88 ERA through four games.
