You do remember what must be done, don’t you?
It is Wednesday evening.
The Orioles, despite trying their absolute best to blow it, are finally back in the win column as they averted a sweep at the hands of the Brewers over 11 innings on Wednesday. They blew the lead in the ninth, blew the lead in the tenth, and finally blew the game open in the eleventh. Ryan O’Hearn had four hits, Heston Kjerstad got a clutch hit, and Adley Rutschman blasted a three-run home run to really open up the lead in the game’s final inning.
The win, which also featured a quality start from Tomoyuki Sugano, marks Tony Mansolino’s first win as the interim manager. The Orioles lost eight in a row but they refused to make it nine.
YOU KNOW WHAT MUST BE DONE.
