A stabbing at Towson Town Center on Saturday was a domestic-related incident and not a random act, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.
Police identified the victim in the Towson Town Center stabbing as an adult woman, who is in critical condition after suffering multiple injuries to her upper body. The victim remains hospitalized, police said Sunday.
At 11 a.m. on Saturday, a Maryland Transit Administration officer and Towson Precinct officers responded to Towson Town Center for a reported stabbing. The suspect dropped the knife when officers arrived before being placed under arrest, according to police.
A small area of the parking lot, where the stabbing occurred, was closed off until 4:45 p.m. Baltimore County Police are investigating the stabbing. No information on charges was available Sunday.
