Gen Z traveler searches are up 26% this fall, according to Airbnb’s fall travel trends report and they’re planning longer international trips compared to millennials.
This surge in Gen Z travel is likely fueled by more affordable travel during the shoulder season, making international travel more approachable for younger travelers, suggests the report.
Underscoring that point, a recent Focaldata survey found that more than 80% of Gen Z respondents say affordability plays a role in their fall travel decisions, and 42% believe that traveling during fall is “a great deal.”
