Let’s start this KD2DC speculation again.
Retired NBA player Carmelo Anthony recently suggested something that some Washington Wizards fans have been secretly hoping for. It’s that he hopes that Phoenix Suns forward Kevin Durant makes a return to Washington and play for the Wizards to finish his career. The comments were said on the 7 PM in Brooklyn podcast which he hosts.
Melo wants the Wizards to be KD’s next team
“Go to the Wizards, bring the energy back to DC … give KD his farewell tour after a couple years.”

Here is the quote that Anthony said that may give Wizards fans cause to pause.
[Kevin Durant,] Go to the Wizards. Bring the energy back to D.C., you home. So now, go back home, your family, your mom, your friends there. Go rekindle that fire back out there in D.C. And they got pieces now, the Wizards. Marcus Smart, Khris Middleton, Alex Starr, Bub Carrington. Brogdon there? You got vets on your team now. I ain’t mad at that. Man, trade all that shit.
While Anthony would like to see the Wizards make a move to bring in Durant, I’m not sure if that fits into what the Wizards would like to do with their current rebuild. But let us know what you think in the comments below.
