On Wednesday, the Washington Mystics announced that rookie guard Georgia Amoore had a right ACL injury during practice yesterday. In a press release, the Mystics said that her condition will be updated as appropriate.
Considering the fact that ACL injuries are often tears, that would likely mean that Amoore, the 6th pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft, will miss the 2025 WNBA season. However, since the Mystics didn’t explicitly say that she tore that ligament, it’s unclear if the ACL was torn or not.
