Let’s kill two birds with one stone as we look at who Wizards fans are rooting for as the NBA playoffs get closer to an end.

Game 2 of the NBA Western Conference Finals between the Minnesota Timberwolves and Dallas Mavericks is tonight at 8:30 p.m. ET on TNT. There is an Altcast, or another feed on TruTV.

On that note, let’s also share you our Washington Wizards survey results. Thank you to the over 500 fans who gave their opinions!

Wizards fans aren’t exactly rooting for a Celtics vs. Mavericks NBA finals

After the NBA Draft Lottery, the Wizards still have no head coach, and no clear schedule on whom they will bring in for workouts. Meanwhile, the Washington Mystics regular season continues (we’ll go over their results in more detail tomorrow) and the NBA playoffs continue as well.

We asked you a question about whether you want to see an NBA Finals matchup between the Boston Celtics and Dallas Mavericks. This was because two former Wizards starters from last year’s team: Kristaps Porzingis and Daniel Gafford, respectively, now play for Boston and Dallas, respectively. Both were liked by the fans when they were in D.C. But 51 percent of the respondents didn’t want to see both of these teams meet in the championship round.

Here are the results of our Wizards @sbnreacts survey.

Also, every team in the Conference Finals has a former Wizards player.

Former Wizards in the Conference Finals:

Dallas: Daniel Gafford, Markief Morris

Minnesota: Monte Morris

Boston: Kristaps Porzingis

Indiana: Quenton Jackson

Fans want to see the Timberwolves, then the Mavericks win the 2023-24 NBA championship

Our second question asked which team you want to see win the 2023-24 NBA championship. The Minnesota Timberwolves were first place with 45 percent followed by the Mavericks with 34 percent. The Indiana Pacers were third at 11 percent and the Celtics were last at 10 percent.

And it appears that Wizards fans are rooting for the Timberwolves (@canishoopus) to win the championship, followed by the Mavericks (@mavsmoneyball) pic.twitter.com/0lWrtUme07

That’s all I have. Enjoy the game tonight!
